About What To Do. What To Do by TSP is a to-do app for iPhone and Mac, kept in sync across your devices. It includes a share extension (so you can send things into your list from other apps) and a widget for a glance at what's next.
The short version: your tasks live on your devices and sync through your own iCloud account. We operate no server of our own and never see your tasks. There is no sign-up, no ads and no tracking.
Policies that apply: Privacy Policy · iCloud Sync · Permissions · Terms of Use.
1. Privacy Policy
What To Do is a personal tool. It has no account system of its own, and we have no way to read what you put in it.
What the app handles
- Your tasks and lists. Titles, notes, dates, reminders, goals and anything you add or share into the app.
- Content you share in. Text or links you send to What To Do from other apps via the share extension become items on your list.
- Settings. Your preferences for how the app behaves and what the widget shows.
What we do not do
- No account with us, and no personal profile.
- No advertising, ad networks or advertising identifiers.
- No selling, renting or sharing your data — we never receive it.
- Your task content is never used for advertising or profiling.
2. iCloud sync
Keeping your list the same on iPhone and Mac is handled by Apple's iCloud, using your own Apple Account. In practice that means:
- Your tasks are stored on your devices and in your private iCloud database — not on any server belonging to us.
- We have no access to your iCloud data and cannot read, export or recover your tasks.
- Sync is governed by Apple's iCloud terms and privacy policy, in addition to this one.
- If you sign out of iCloud or disable iCloud for the app in your device settings, the app keeps working with data stored locally on that device.
Because we cannot see or restore your data, please keep your own backups (device or iCloud backup) of anything you cannot afford to lose.
3. Permissions
- Notifications — with your permission, the app schedules reminders on your device. Reminders are generated locally; you can turn them off any time in system settings.
- Share extension — receives only the specific item you choose to share into What To Do from another app.
- Widget — reads your own tasks to display them on your Home Screen, Lock Screen or Notification Centre.
4. Children
What To Do is a general-audience productivity app, not directed at children under 13, and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
5. Advertising & purchases
What To Do displays no advertising and contains no advertising SDKs. It has no in-app purchases or subscriptions at present. If a future version introduces ads or paid features, this policy will be updated first — including what any ad partner collects and how to limit it — and any purchases would be processed by Apple through the App Store, with refunds handled under Apple's standard process.
6. Your control
You can edit or delete any task in the app, turn off notifications, and disable iCloud sync for the app in your device settings. Deleting the app removes its local data from that device; data in your iCloud account is managed by you through Apple's settings. Because we hold no copy of your data, there is nothing for us to delete on your behalf — but you can contact us with any privacy question, and we respond in line with applicable law, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
7. Terms of Use
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. Reminders depend on your device's settings and system behaviour, so do not rely on the app alone for anything critical. You may not misuse, reverse engineer or disrupt the app. To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Singularity Project and ATZ Enterprises are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including missed tasks, missed reminders or lost data. Governed by the laws of India; courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra have jurisdiction. Your use is also subject to Apple's standard App Store terms.
8. Changes
We may amend this policy at any time as the app changes. The version published on this page is the current one.
