Privacy Policy

SnapGuide by TSP (“the Extension”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is a Google Chrome extension provided by ATZ (“ATZ”). This policy explains how it handles your information.
In one sentence: SnapGuide turns your clicks into step-by-step guides that are created and stored entirely on your own device. It has no account, no server, and no analytics. Nothing you capture is sent to us or to anyone else.

2. What we store, and where
Everything SnapGuide creates — your screenshots, annotations (markers, labels, redactions, crops, inserted images and emoji, link regions), and guide metadata (titles, step order, export settings) — is stored locally in your browser using chrome.storage.local. We do not operate a server and we do not receive a copy of any of it. The Extension works fully offline.

SnapGuide reads no page content beyond the clicked element’s label and position, and it never records what you type.
4. What we share
Nothing. We do not sell, rent, trade, or transfer your data to anyone. The Extension contains no analytics or tracking, serves no ads, uses no remote code, and makes no network requests to us. The only things that ever leave your device are the images and PDFs you choose to copy, download, or share.

Unlike some extensions, SnapGuide’s single purpose — recording guides on any site you pick — means host access is needed for the recorder to work, but it is used only for local capture and never to read or transmit your browsing.
6. Chrome Web Store Limited Use
Our handling of user data complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Because SnapGuide collects and transmits no user data and does not access any Google user data through Google APIs, these requirements are satisfied by design.
7. Data retention and deletion
Your data lives in your browser. You can delete any guide (or clear all steps) in the editor at any time, use Export to save copies first if you wish, or remove the Extension from Chrome — uninstalling permanently deletes all stored data. Because we never receive your data, there is nothing for us to delete on a server.
8. Children
SnapGuide is a general-productivity tool and is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or 16 where applicable). We do not knowingly collect data from children — in fact, we collect no personal data from anyone.
9. Your rights
Because your data stays on your device and is not collected by us, you remain in control of it at all times. If you are in a jurisdiction that grants data-subject rights (e.g., the EEA/UK under GDPR, or California under the CCPA/CPRA) and believe we hold personal data about you, contact us at the address in Section 1 and we will confirm that we do not.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.

Refund Policy

0. Current status — everything is free
SnapGuide by TSP is currently completely free, with every feature unlocked and no limits. There are no paid plans yet, so there is nothing to refund today. This policy describes how refunds will work once paid plans are introduced. It takes effect for any purchase made after billing is enabled.
1. Scope
This policy applies to paid upgrades to SnapGuide Pro (“Paid Plans”) purchased through Razorpay. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected by this policy.
2. Free tier and trials
SnapGuide’s core features remain free. Where we offer a free trial of a Paid Plan, you will not be charged until the trial ends, and you may cancel any time before then to avoid a charge.
3. Cancellations
You can cancel a Paid Plan at any time from your account's billing page or the Razorpay customer portal. When you cancel:
- your subscription stays active until the end of the current billing period;
- you are not charged again; and
- your guides remain available under the free tier (subject to any free-tier limits that apply going forward).
4. Refunds
- 14-day money-back guarantee (new subscriptions). If you are not satisfied, request a full refund within 14 days of your first payment for a plan and we will refund it, no questions asked.
- Monthly renewals. After the first 14 days, monthly renewal charges are generally non-refundable, but if you were charged after cancelling, or in the case of a genuine error, contact us and we will make it right.
- Annual renewals. If you cancel within 14 days of an annual renewal and have not made significant use of Pro features in that period, we will refund the renewal. Otherwise annual plans can be cancelled to stop future renewals.
- Duplicate or accidental charges are always refunded in full.
5. How to request a refund
Email support@atzent.in from the address associated with your purchase, including the approximate purchase date. We aim to respond within 3 business days and to process approved refunds within 5–10 business days, returned to your original payment method.
6. Chargebacks
Please contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank — we can almost always resolve issues faster directly.
7. Statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable rights you have under the consumer law of your country (for example, EU/UK distance-selling and cooling-off rights).

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and ATZ Enterprises (“ATZ”, “we”, “us”) governing your use of the SnapGuide by TSP Chrome extension and related website and services (together, the “Service”). By installing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
SnapGuide by TSP is a browser extension that records your clicks as annotated screenshots and lets you edit and export them as images or step-by-step PDF guides. Your guides are created and stored locally in your browser; nothing is uploaded to us.
2. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the content you capture and for maintaining your own backups (the Service provides image and PDF export for this purpose). You agree to use the Service only to capture content you are entitled to access, and to respect the privacy and rights of others — for example, using the built-in redaction tools to cover other people’s personal or confidential information before you share a guide.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to: (a) use the Service unlawfully or to violate others’ rights, privacy, or confidentiality; (b) capture or share content you are not authorised to capture; (c) reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the Service except as permitted by its licence, if any; (d) interfere with or disrupt the Service; or (e) use the Service to store or distribute unlawful material.
4. Paid plans (when available)
The core Service is currently free with no limits. If we introduce paid plans, the price, billing cycle, and features will be shown at purchase, billing will recur until you cancel, and refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
5. Intellectual property
The Service, including its name, logo, and design, is owned by ATZ or its licensors. These Terms grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for its intended purpose. Any open-source components are provided under their respective licences. The guides and content you create remain yours.
6. Privacy
Our handling of your data is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. In short: SnapGuide collects and transmits no user data.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that captures will be perfect on every website (see the Extension’s documented limitations). You are responsible for maintaining backups of important guides.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ATZ will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 50. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service and uninstall it at any time, which removes all locally stored data. We may suspend or terminate the Service, or your access to it, if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (e.g., 5, 7, 8, 10) will survive.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of that jurisdiction will have exclusive jurisdiction, without limiting any mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence.

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be indicated by updating the “Last updated” date, and continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
