About DPI Editor. DPI Editor by TSP is a browser tool that does two things: it checks whether an image will actually print cleanly at the physical size you want (its effective PPI), and it lets you re-tag the DPI metadata written in the file header.
The short version: the tool runs entirely in your browser. Your images are opened and processed on your own device and are never uploaded to us or to anyone else. There is no account and no tracking.

1. Privacy Policy
DPI Editor is a client-side tool. There is no sign-in, no user account, and no server of ours that receives your files.
What the tool handles
- The image you open. Read in your browser to measure its pixel dimensions and existing DPI tag, and to write a new tag when you ask.
- Your chosen settings. The print size or DPI value you enter, kept only for the current session unless your browser stores a preference locally.
What we do not do
- We do not upload, receive, view or store your images — there is no server that could.
- We do not require accounts and do not collect personal information.
- We do not sell or share your data.
2. Your images
Everything happens locally, which is what makes this safe to use with client artwork and unreleased designs. A short note on what the tool actually changes, so you can trust the result:
- Re-tagging DPI is lossless. The DPI/PPI value is header metadata: changing it rewrites the declared print size and never alters a single pixel. It adds no detail and removes none.
- Print quality comes from pixels. Real sharpness is pixel dimensions ÷ print size (effective PPI) — which is why the check matters more than the tag.
- The tool will not silently resample or "AI-enhance" your image. Any operation that would invent new pixels is separate, opt-in and clearly labelled.
- You keep the original: the tool gives you a new file to save. Keep your own backups of important artwork.
3. Children
DPI Editor is a general-audience utility, not directed at children under 13, and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
4. Advertising
DPI Editor displays no advertising and includes no advertising or analytics SDKs. If a future or commercial version introduces ads or paid tiers, this policy will be updated first — disclosing what any ad partner collects and how to limit it — and third-party cookie/consent controls would be provided where required.
5. Terms of Use
The tool is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. Process only images you own or have the right to use. Print results depend on your printer, paper and supplier — always check a proof before a production run. To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Singularity Project and ATZ Enterprises are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including print costs, rejected artwork or loss of image data. Governed by the laws of India; courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra have jurisdiction.
6. Changes
We may amend this policy at any time as the tool changes. The version published on this page is the current one.
